Megarevo

For three days in São Paulo, the Megarevo team had the opportunity to meet the people who are shaping the next stage of energy development in Latin America.

From August 25 to 27, 2026, The smarter E South America brought together companies, distributors, system integrators, project developers, energy professionals, and other industry participants at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. For Megarevo, the event was not simply an opportunity to present energy storage products. It was a chance to sit down with customers, listen to their project requirements, and better understand how the region's energy storage market is developing.

The conversations at the booth were often more valuable than a prepared presentation. Different visitors came with different questions. Some were interested in energy storage for commercial and industrial facilities, while others were looking at backup power, photovoltaic integration, or solutions that could be expanded as their energy requirements grow. These discussions gave the Megarevo team a closer look at what customers in Brazil and the wider Latin American market are looking for from an energy storage partner.

Three Days in São Paulo, and a Lot to Talk About

The atmosphere at The smarter E South America 2026 reflected the growing connection between renewable power generation, energy storage, electricity management, and electrification.

For visitors coming to the Megarevo booth, the conversation rarely started with a product model. More often, it started with a project.

What type of load will the system serve? How much power is required? Is the system intended primarily for energy management, backup power, or integration with solar generation? What operating conditions should be considered? How much flexibility will be needed if the project expands later?

These are practical questions, but they are also the questions that determine whether an energy storage system works well after installation.

That made the exhibition particularly useful for Megarevo. Direct conversations allowed our team to understand the priorities behind different projects rather than looking at the Latin American market only through market reports and industry data.

At the same time, visitors had the opportunity to see how Megarevo approaches energy storage from the inverter to the complete system level.

Brazil's Growing Energy Storage Conversation

Brazil was a natural focus of the exhibition.

The country has developed a substantial renewable energy market, with solar power becoming an increasingly important part of its electricity landscape. As more distributed and renewable generation enters the energy mix, the conversation is gradually moving beyond generation alone.

The question is increasingly about how electricity can be used, managed, stored, and supplied when it is needed.

This is where energy storage becomes relevant.

For businesses, an energy storage system can be considered in connection with electricity cost management, load requirements, backup power, and solar generation. For sites with more complex energy needs, storage can also become part of a broader energy management strategy.

The requirements are therefore not the same from one project to another.

This was one of the clearest impressions we took away from the exhibition: there is no single storage configuration that can address every application. The solution has to match the site's power demand, operating conditions, energy objectives, and future plans.

That perspective is closely aligned with Megarevo's approach to energy storage.

From Inverter Technology to Practical Energy Storage

Megarevo's business has developed around energy storage inverters and complete energy storage solutions, allowing the company to address projects with different power requirements and applications.

At The smarter E South America, the focus was therefore not simply on showing equipment. We wanted visitors to understand how inverter technology fits into a complete energy storage system.

For residential applications, the requirements may center on photovoltaic self-consumption, backup power, or greater control over household energy use. Commercial and industrial projects can involve much larger loads and more complex operating requirements, where system capacity, scalability, and energy management become more important.

Megarevo's C&I energy storage portfolio includes inverter solutions designed for this wider range of commercial and industrial applications, together with outdoor cabinet and containerized energy storage systems.

This broader product structure gives project developers and system integrators more options when moving from a small installation to a larger energy storage project.

But from our perspective at the exhibition, the most important point was not how many products could be displayed. It was whether the technology could be matched to a real project.

That is where conversations with local partners become particularly important.

Listening to What the Market Needs

Every energy storage market has its own conditions, and Latin America is no exception.

A project developer evaluating an energy storage system needs to consider far more than nominal power. Site conditions, load profiles, solar generation, battery configuration, grid conditions, installation requirements, and future expansion can all affect the final system design.

During the exhibition, these practical considerations shaped many of our conversations.

Rather than presenting a fixed solution to every visitor, the Megarevo team focused on understanding what each project was trying to achieve.

For some customers, reliable backup power may be the priority. For others, the objective may be to make better use of solar generation or improve energy management for a commercial facility. In larger projects, scalability and system integration can become equally important.

These differences matter.

They also explain why Megarevo has developed a portfolio covering residential energy storage, C&I energy storage, microgrid applications, and larger-scale energy storage requirements. The purpose is not to make the product range more complicated. It is to provide a suitable technical starting point for projects with different operating conditions.

Building Local Connections Beyond the Exhibition Hall

An exhibition ends after three days, but the relationships established there can continue much longer.

For Megarevo, one of the most valuable parts of The smarter E South America 2026 was the opportunity to meet people who understand the Brazilian and Latin American markets from the inside.

Local distributors, system integrators, project developers, and energy professionals bring knowledge that cannot be gained from a product catalogue. They understand customer expectations, project development processes, local business practices, and the practical challenges faced during installation and operation.

For an energy storage manufacturer, that feedback is important.

It helps us look at our solutions from the perspective of the people who will specify, install, operate, and maintain them.

It also reinforces our belief that long-term development in Latin America will depend not only on product performance, but also on strong cooperation throughout the project chain.

Megarevo has already supplied energy storage inverter solutions to customers in markets around the world. The company reports more than 5 GW of cumulative energy storage inverter deliveries, with its products and solutions reaching 36 countries and serving more than 2,000 companies.

Those figures represent accumulated experience, but they are not the end of the story. Each market presents new requirements, and each project provides another opportunity to improve how energy storage solutions are designed and delivered.

Taking the Conversation Forward

Standing at the Megarevo booth in São Paulo, it was clear that the energy storage discussion in Latin America is becoming more practical.

The industry is moving from asking whether energy storage has a role to asking where it can deliver the greatest value, how systems should be configured, and how storage can work together with renewable generation and changing electricity demand.

That is exactly the kind of conversation we wanted to have at The smarter E South America 2026.

Over the three days, we met new people, exchanged ideas, discussed projects, and gained a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the region. We are grateful to everyone who visited the Megarevo booth and took the time to speak with our team.

For us, the exhibition was not a finish line. It was another step in building closer connections with Brazil and the wider Latin American energy market.

São Paulo gave us three busy days of conversations and new perspectives. We now take those conversations back with us as we continue working on energy storage solutions for different applications and markets.

Thank you, Brazil. See you next time.
